TURMERIC POTENCY
The healing source and protagonist in is Turmeric, the golden spice from the Curcuma longa plant. It's an age-old superfood, much used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine.
When cloth is dyed with turmeric-infused water, the cloth absorbs its healing properties:
antimicrobial properties that in direct skin contact may promote skin wellness and support the body's healthy inflammatory response.
Curcumin, one of turmeric's most important components, is known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antiseptic properties. It benefits immunity, detoxification, skin conditions, digestion, brain regeneration, pain relief, joint health, helps maintain blood sugar levels and cholesterol health.
Turmeric is a perennial herbaceous plant from the ginger family. It is native to South Asia's tropical, high-rainfall regions and cultivated predominantly in India.
ENERGY ~ LIGHT ~ COLOR
Science and extra-sensorial perception show that everything in the universe is made of energy that vibrates. Energy that vibrates imparts and impacts information. Turmeric's yellow dyed hue is impermanent in nature. Part of its beauty is the color's constant flux, as it is influenced by sunlight and time. Gradually it fades to a very light yellow.
All dyed pieces come with a bag or organic golden powder and a folder with dyeing instructions to inspire re-infusing owned garments and cloths with a fresh yel(g)low.

for approx. 300 gr of cloth = 1 garment
(includes a bag with organic kurkuma and a folder with instructions to dye, how to care for you dyed cloths and
all about turmeric)

2. Custom dyeing by me - let your garments, curtains, bedsheets or other cloths be infused.

What will be offered:

- how to care for your dyed items
- how to use turmeric medicinally in your everyday life
- how to grow your own turmeric at home
Workshops can be tailored to the age of participants, the size of a group and the duration of time.
